Like a typical person who grows to want to start getting more money a person with Down Syndrome wants to develop those skills as well. Often we will find that we can encourage our loved ones by helping them seek employment at a Grocery or Department store. They can be capable of gathering carts and stocking shelves. Often however they need guidance and a watchful eye as they work in those facilities. How do we manage to give our loved ones an experience they can enjoy?

Just like a typical child a person with Down Syndrome enjoys interacting with others. Find activities that are appropriate for the Down Syndrome person can be challenging but they do exist. Where in the community can this loved one go for fun while being a safe environment? What extra curricular activities are available and affordable for the person with Down Syndrome?
